The Maryland Quilt Block

Here we are already on week 2 of the Road Trip Quilt Along from Em at Sewing By Moonlight

The Maryland block was very challenging for me and is FAR from perfect! I could try to take out some stitches and match up some seams better, but I'm happy to have it turn out as good as it did. And as I always say, "By the time its quilted, washed and dryed, no one will notice!"

Here are Maryland and Virginia side by side. I think I'm achieving that Americana theme I was working toward.

Next week we will be making the Pennsylvania block. I peeked at it and it looks much easier!

Your block looks spectacular in the stripe. No visible errors that I can see.
