Virginia Star

Here's Block Number one of the Road Trip Quilt Along (RTQA), hosted by Em of Sewing By Moonlight. Its the Virginia Star. I decided to make my state quilt blocks in Americana fabrics.

I like yellow and blue together and I love the little stars and the yellow plaid. You may recognise it from The Graduation Quilt. Eventually I will run out of it, since it came from a shirt!

Next week.... Maryland!
