My current quilting project, Gentlemen's Quarters, is coming along slowly. I think a series of posts on how I am cutting 5 1/2 inch squares from shirts would be kind of boring. I'll post an update on the quilt when there's something more interesting to show!

But, for today, here is a mug rug/mini quilt I made this week. I made two, one of which my hubby will be using on his desk at work

Since I am on a John Deere theme lately, here is a small quilted tote/purse.

Happy Thursday!

What cute.... uh, I mean... what manly mug-rugs! Great job...
Grandson Gavin would love your John Deere projects, they have a big John Deere on their little farm.
mug rugs are on my to-do list. right are the current string quilt, 2 blouses and 1 nightgown for me, chair covers for Jimmy, quiet packs for Easter gifts for the 2 bigger grands, you get the idea!
I keep wanting to make some mug rugs, but feel like I need to find some really cool mugs first and then make them to match.
