I know exactly how you feel. I've been saving mine in canning jars because they're so pretty to look at. I'm hoping to do a "Snippets" project by making a tree and using the scraps as leaves. Just tell the hubby: "Waste not, Want not" !!
Lord, Young Lady! I never heard of 'dog ears' in relation to sewing in any fashion. You have taught me a lesson today. I am with your hubby. What are you going to do with them?????????????

LOL... I love it! I have been saving scraps because I saw that you can donate all the little fabric pieces to help make dog beds. :-)
