WIP Wednesday

Its Wip Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced.

I am still on a break from making bed size quilts, but I will be back to my regularly scheduled work in progress soon. There's something about Spring that does not encourage me to work on quilts. You know what I mean? In the Fall and Winter its natural to work on a quilt, but in the Spring and Summer the yard and garden are calling me. I am blessed to have so many things that I love to do! I have been working on more mug rugs to go with the mugs I bought and showed in last week's WIP Wednesday.

Here are some of the mug rugs lined up beside Big Brother ready to be quilted. Some sunflower mug rugs in progress. They need the binding.

Here are some completed sets.

I'm the same way about crocheting afghans. I love working on them during the winter but come spring I want to work out side. Your mug rugs are beautiful. I love the way you pair them with a mug that matches. The sunflower sets are my favorites. Have a blessed day. Jackie

Have a great day.

Love them. I think the mug rugs would be a great way for me to "learn" free form machine quilting. I've been thinking about it. :)

I am in love with mug rugs! I haven't made any yet, but I've been haunting Flickr the past couple of days, looking at them and getting ideas. What size do you make yours? They're such great gifts, especially if you're having to mail them.

The mug rugs look so nice with their matching mugs. It's fun to do small projects sometimes isn't it? Especially when they turn out so well.

Such cute mug rug sets! I know what you mean about quilting in the springtime. Fortunately (I guess?), spring hasn't found its way to my house yet. : )

Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday!
