Here's a sneak peek at the new baby quilt I am making. This fabric is Michael Miller's Zoology in Sea.
The mother to be is using gray with blue accents in her nursery, so I thought this would go with her colors.
I've been struggling with getting motivated to sew lately. I go through these times now and then. To overcome this I am committing to sewing on this baby quilt for 15 minutes a day. I know that doesn't sound like much time, but you'd be surprised how much you can get done if you are consistent with this. And this is an easy quilt, so I'll have the top done in no time.

BOM and BOW
I am WAY behind on my Road Trip Quilt Along Block of the Month! I'm not sure what happened, but I plan to catch up. This is Minnesota Star. Another paper pieced pattern and a little wonky..... again... Oh well, I am considering this QAL a skill builder. If I made several of the same block I could get it right after a while. But, making only one, with limited time available... what you see is what you get!

This is the Bloggers Block of the Month for July. So I just have to do the August block before the September one comes out on the 25th. Not too far behind on this one.

I cleaned up my sewing room yesterday. It was a sight! Maybe having a more organized space will help motivate me to get more sewing done.
