Slow Sunday Stitching - Table Runner

Slow Sunday Stitching... Super Bowl Edition

I am linking this post to Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching.

One of my favorite slow stitching activities is hand sewing down the binding on the back of a quilt.  In this case it is a quilted runner, so it won't take too long.  It will just be nice, slow and no stress sewing on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

This pattern can be found at Quilting Digest HERE.

Pretty runner, Debbie! I had thought about doing some stitching on my vintage needlepoint during the game, but I already have a kink in my neck today, so I'm not sure that will happen. ha! I have some chicken fabric I bought sometime back that I want to make placemats from... nothing fancy, just one for me, hubby, and my daddy for Sunday meals. That's one of my sewing goals this week. I hope you get your binding all stitched down and enjoy the game!

Your pretty runner oozes lovely colour and charm. I too like the satisfaction of hand stitching the binding on; perfect for stitching on a Sunday afternoon whilst watching a football game.
