A Quilted Spring Table Runner

I wanted to make a Spring table runner and this is the result.  I started out with some lemon fabric scraps and pulled more fabric and scraps to go with it.  I like it a lot better in person than in these pictures.

The backing is green and white dotted.  I can flip it over for a whole new look.

I used the sew and flip/quilt as you go method, but I just had to go back and add some more quilting.  I love how the swirls turned out.  I sewed the binding on completely by machine and it turned out great and was such a time saver.

I added a basket of hand made spring colored cloth napkins and some dollar store fruit on a white platter.

Oh, Debbie. I am so glad to read a post from you. I have missed them - since I have been away from my computer, and because you are working on these things and not posting a lot.

You do the neatest table runners, and this one is special. Also like the napkins and fruit display.

This one is especially so.

The napkins and fruit make the scene complete.
