I wanted to make a Spring table runner and this is the result. I started out with some lemon fabric scraps and pulled more fabric and scraps to go with it. I like it a lot better in person than in these pictures.
The backing is green and white dotted. I can flip it over for a whole new look.
I used the sew and flip/quilt as you go method, but I just had to go back and add some more quilting. I love how the swirls turned out. I sewed the binding on completely by machine and it turned out great and was such a time saver.
I added a basket of hand made spring colored cloth napkins and some dollar store fruit on a white platter.

Harper's Quilt
Here is a quilt I recently made for a new Great, Great Niece, Harper. My inspiration was from a quilt made by my friend, Little Pen Pen, shown HERE.
These aren't the best pictures, because it was a cold, windy morning, and I was quickly trying to get a few pictures before heading out to the baby shower.
I really like how it turned out.

I love that one little block with Little Red Riding Hood. |
