WIP Wednesday

Its WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced. Here's what I've been working on in the sewing room.

1. The first block in the Bloggers' Block of the Month (BOM). Since this BOM lasts a year and will finish up next year right before Christmas... and I've been wanting to make a Christmas quilt, I decided to make the BOM's from Christmas fabric.

These are some fabrics I used for the first block.

The first block

2. The Jacob's Ladder Quilt Along. I've finished 16 blocks so far.

3. Blueberri Breezes. I pin basted the quilt sandwich and started free motion quilting it.

Wow... you've barely finished Razzle-Dazzle and you have all this done? Amazing..

Very pretty Christmas fabrics... and your JL blocks are coming right along! Really like the reverse block effect...

You are my hero! I want to be 'you' when I grow up. Ha ha! Actually, DD is moving out this week and we are getting DH moved back in. When things slow down around here, I hope to be 'you'... making quilt after quilt after quilt after quilt. :o) Your Christmas quilt is going to be wonderful!

now that our son's is living on his own, I've been able to rearrange things and have a proper sewing room again. yea!

You always inspire me so much, these 3 quilts are so nice and I esp. like the colors in the first 2.

no quilt sewing for me just yet, but I did finish a handbag last night and have almost finished a blouse.

Looking good! I like the effect of having each Jacob's Ladder block in a different color. :)

Your Christmas quilt is going to be incredible! I love the fussy-cutting on the snowflake.

I really like your stippling, it's a little different than some of what I've seen and I really like your 'spin' on it so to speak. Beautiful stuff all together!

Your Jacob's Ladder is beautiful, I didn't want to make one until I saw yours. Like the different colors.
