WIP WEDNESDAY - Summer Plans

Its Wednesday and Lee at Freshly Pieced is cracking the WIP again! I do need some motivation!

Ok, the temperatures this week have reached the mid nineties, so its time to start staying indoors and work on quilts.

I am making quilting plans for the Summer of 2011! Last summer I made a nine patch block a day and thoroughly enjoyed the process and the resulting quilt. So I've been thinking about what I want to get accomplished by Labor Day. The wisest decision would be to finish my WIPs.

I have to be honest with you. My WIPs are the same as they were a month ago, but here goes:

Handquilting Baptist Fans on the Grandma Quilt:

Bluberri Breezes quilt top, ready to be pin basted and quilted:

The red and white double nine patch quilt top in progress:

My summer goal is to finish these three quilts.

..... And maybe start a new one!

Good for you!! Your hand-quilting looks amazing, great job. And three quilts over three months sounds good to me! Good luck with your goal :)

wonderful nine-patches! I've got 2 in the works as well and I love how easy they are to come together! Thanks for sharing!

At least you stay motivated!!! I seem to slip in and out and get distracted so easily. Maybe I have adult attention deficit disorder... hmm? Your posts and progress do truly inspire me...thanks!
