On my sewing table Friday...
An actual quilt finish! This is Zoology Quilt #2. My Zoology Quilt # 1 can be seen by clicking HERE. The fabric line is by Michael Miller.
I had the fabric left over from the first Zoology quilt I made in 2012, and improvised with what I had to come up with the design.
The blocks are 9 inches (finished)
I love the matching aqua blue binding.
This quilt will be for sale in my Etsy Shop.

Zoology Baby Quilt #2
This post is linked to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced HERE.
I made a baby quilt using this Michael Miller "Zoology" fabric in November, 2012, and had a little of the fabric left. Last week I got busy making another quilt with the leftovers. You can see the first Zoology Quilt HERE.

Free Motion Quilting in progress:
I found some fabric for the binding that is the exact shade of aqua blue as the hippos. I'm hoping to finish this one in a couple of days and list it in my Etsy Shop.

A Sunday Nugget
We just returned from a trip to the North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia mountains. Without even trying to find them, I took pictures from the car window of at least 30 barn quilts!
Here is one of my favorite Bible verses that I added to one of the pictures.
Have a blessed Sunday!

Finished the Church Ladies Quilt
I finished this quilt a couple of months ago, but never got around to posting the picture. The quilting turned out pretty good, which is a relief because I'm always afraid something will go wrong!
You may remember that I was asked to quilt the top by the ladies group at my church. It will be auctioned off later in November at our annual harvest day.

Watermelon Quilt
This is a quilt I recently finished for a friend. She bought the fabric and asked me make it.
The fabric had the panels printed on it and the borders were printed on both sides. I had to cut the borders off and then sew them back on in the right places.
I had two panels left over, so I made two matching 18 inch square pillows.
These pictures don't do this quilt justice. It turned out to be beautiful.

Quilting
I'm very pleased to have made some great progress on this quilt. I finished pin basting it and have machine quilted about two bobbins worth!
My plan is to quilt as much as I can this week before and after work. It would be wonderful to finish the quilting this week and do the binding next weekend.
